Apa Perbedaan Sistem Komputer dan Sistem Informasi

Istilah tersebut ditemui pada pilihan program studi pada saat perkuliahan.  Di Indonesia ada dua prodi Sistem Komputer dan Sistem Informasi. Kedua prodi ditawarkan oleh PTN dan PTS. Di PTS-PTS prodi laris kayak “kacang goreng” saja. Karena sangat diminati. Tapi perbedaan antara kedua prodi yang ditawarkan PTS kurang kelihatan dari segi kurikulum.

Saat browsing di Internet, saya memberi referensi ke Hongkong University. Disana terdapat program studi Computer Engineering sama dengan Sistem Komputer di Indonesia. Dan juga ada Information Engineering sama dengan Sistem Informasi di Indonesia.

Maaf, kalau anda memang ingin membandingkan kurikulumnya, mohon lihat kurikulum standard indonesia ya. Jgn sombong2in diri mengatakan “Di PTS-PTS prodi laris kayak “kacang goreng” saja”. Di PTS pun sangat terlihat perbedaan antara SI dan SK. Mohon anda kaji kurikulum di Binus, Gundar, ITENAS jakarta. Sangat terlihat perbedaannya.

Coba saja anda pilih Gundar, lihat jumlah mahasiswanya… laris kan ?. Mungkin untuk sekelas Binus dan Gundar mungkin kurikulumnya sudah OK, coba saja anda lihat PTS lainnya. terima kasih
